This time of year always brings out questions about Dibs so we want to get you some answers if you missed them in the parent meetings or communication throughout the season.
Q: Are there enough dibs for everyone?
A: Yes, each year we do a dibs budget and continually evaluate our projections to ensure that we can provide what we are asking our members to do each year.
Q: When will more dibs be coming out?
A: WFHA is hosting the NDAHA Bantam B1 State Tournament the weekend of March 10-12, 2023 and as this is a state-organized tournament, we are awaiting the final schedule before we can put the dibs, we hope that those who still have dibs to fulfill are able to make this work.
Q: The dibs you offer don't work for me. What can I do that works for my skills, time, or preference?
A: WFHA asks our members to volunteer with items that we need help with when there isn't enough manpower to facilitate a program without the help of our volunteers. This often means learning something new, flexing your schedule, or making small sacrifices to ensure you can complete your requirements.
Q: What happens if I don't complete my dibs by the end of the season?
A: We will email you towards the end of the season to validate the shortage. Once we have confirmed our shortage per family, we will invoice each family $40/dib that were incomplete. All invoices must be paid in full prior to participating in any other WFHA related activities including but not limited to Stampede Summer Academy, Regular Season, Fall Camp, etc.
