FARGO, ND – The Fargo Youth Hockey Association (FYHA), West Fargo Hockey Association (WFHA), and the Fargo Angels announced today they are joining forces to provide financial support to Hope Inc. sled hockey players who have been selected to participate in the U.S. Select Camps in New Jersey.  Two boys and two girls from Hope Inc.’s sled team will be participating in the Select Camps this month.

For the boy’s division, the top 45 sled players across the nation are invited to participate in the select camp. From the select camp, 18 players are chosen for the US Development Team which ultimately feeds Team USA.  For the girl’s division, the Select Camp is the tryout for the Women’s National Team.

In a joint statement, the youth associations remarked, “This is a tremendous opportunity for Hope’s players.  Not only does it demonstrate the high level of skill these kids possess, but also the quality of Hope’s sled hockey program. The dedication of these players to the game of hockey is a true inspiration to our hockey community.  We are pleased to support these outstanding athletes.”

FYHA, WFHA and the Fargo Angels provide hockey programming to children residing within the Fargo Public Schools District, West Fargo Public Schools District, and parochial school system within Fargo and West Fargo.
