The WFHA is firing up the cylinders this year around the USA Hockey grow the game initiative.  For the first time in recent memory, on Saturday, September 15th, players from the WFHA Stampede took to the streets to promote the great sport of hockey and support their community in the annual West Fest Parade. 

60 Stampede players dressed in blue and gold did an amazing job waving, smiling, carrying the association banner, and handing out candy/trinkets/frisbees while "skating" on rollerblades and riding the float.  

Great job kids!!

And a HUGE thank you to Shana Wilson, Float Coordinators; Pam Peterson & Jeanne Wurzbacher, Trailer Provider; Ryan & Jenn Weisgramm and Hay Bale Provider; Nic Miller and all the parent member volunteers (hitting double digits in numbers).

Great commitment for helping out the WFHA in the morning and into the afternoon.  GO STAMPEDE!!
