WFHA is offering one team for Junior Gold for the 2022-2023 season and is open to all males and females born on or between 6/1/2003-5/31/2007.
This team will participate in a state-wide league across North Dakota with other Junior Gold teams along with a State Tournament in Grand Forks, ND the weekend of March 3-5, 2023. They will also play three tournaments across Minnesota and play other Junior Gold teams outside of the state. This team will have coaches, team managers, and team schedulers just like all other teams with the same rules and expectations as all other teams in the West Fargo Hockey Association.
Registration closure has moved to the END OF DAY on Sunday, November 20th. Players must be registered with West Fargo Hockey Association in order to participate in any events. Click HERE to sign up today!
Registration cost for Junior Gold is $775 (same as Bantam/15U) for the full season with scholarship options available for those who qualify. Click HERE to find out more about scholarships. All player registration fees for Junior Gold must be paid in full by 12/31 in order to participate past New Years.
If our program does not proceed due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued (minus your USA Hockey registration).
PRIOR PARTICIPATION IN OTHER JUNIOR GOLD PROGRAMS
Players who have participated in the Fargo Freeze Junior Gold program must participate in the WFHA program unless a waiver/transfer form has been submitted and approved by Fargo, West Fargo, and NDAHA. West Fargo and Fargo will do our best to ensure players are able to participate in the programs of choice but ultimately must make the best decision for the program and the teams. We will work to communicate these changes as soon as they are made.
Players must be registered in their home program to be considered for this option and must complete & submit the transfer/waiver forms as required by NDAHA found HERE.
Players do not need to have played for the West Fargo Stampede previously to participate but hockey experience is highly recommended for the safety of all play.
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE
The first day of practice has been moved from Monday, November 14th to Monday, November 21st at 4:15 pm in Vets 1.
Depending on the enrollment, we will decide if an evaluation process is necessary and communicate to those players appropriately.
