Travel Teams Start This Week
Travel teams have been posted and most of the coaches and team managers/schedulers have been rostered. We are working thru some final details about those roles but we are excited that teams start practice this week! Any information you need to know about your team should be funneled through your coaches (for hockey-related stuff), your team manager (for the logistics), and your team scheduler (for box duties). Check with your team if you have any questions and they will reach out to us if there is anything they don't know!
We do have 2 teams who have games already this weekend: Bantam AA at Shattuck and 15UA vs OMGHA at Vets. If you are in town, feel free to click on their name above and head out to watch some great Stampede Hockey! We are excited for everyone's season opener in the next 2 weeks! Keep an eye on Facebook or Twitter for a season opening clip!
Squirt/10U Evaluations Start Tonight
Squirt/10U Evaluations start tonight for all travel and in-house players. Information has been posted HERE on our website but a few FAQ we have been asked:
- Jerseys will be distributed tonight before each eval session. These jerseys will be used this season for both in-house games and travel practice jerseys. They are to be returned at the end of the season so please take good care of them.
- Players should arrive no more than 30 minutes before each session and should be getting ready in the locker room versus horseplay in the common areas. Locker Rooms will be identified on the screens in the lobby of both Vets 1 and Vets 2.
- Please have your players pay attention to which rink they will be on as we will be holding evaluations on both Vets 1 and 2.
-These are not closed evaluation sessions and are open to the public.
- If your player cannot attend one or more of the eval groups, please email Mike Parnell at mparnell@westfargohockey.com with your players name, eval group, and the session(s) they will miss.
Mite/8U Evaluations Start Tomorrow
Mite/8U Evaluations start tomorrow with information has been posted HERE on our website but a few FAQ we have been asked:
- Players who did not pick up socks and jerseys at the parent level meeting can pick them up before their sessions tonight. They are to be returned at the end of the season so please take good care of them.
