Fall Camps for the travel levels have begun!!   There is no charge for attending any of the sessions.  We hope this offers Members more flexibility and will still allow your player to get out on the ice before tryouts begin.   Because of Covid there are some changes we needed to do to get this started.

groups

First, each of the levels (i.e. Squirt/10U, Peewee/12U, Bantam/15U) have been rostered to 'A' and 'B' groups.  What this does is keeps the locker rooms from being too congested in order to stay within social distancing guidelines.  Players will stay in these groups through Fall Camp and Tryouts.  You may not switch sessions or groups.  Please have your player use the appropriate locker room for his/her group each time they attend camp and/or tryouts.

To find your assigned group see the documents below OR go to our website http://westfargohockey.com, select 'Teams' then the players level.  From here you will be able to go through and find out which group your player has been assigned.

After you have found the group you can look at the calendar for the schedule https://www.westfargohockey.com/page/show/52964-calendar.  Scroll down to the bottom of the calendar and select 'show tag menu'. Click on your players specific group and their schedule will be displayed on the calendar.

To make it even easier, you can go into the Sports Engine app and search 'West Fargo Group (insert group # here), select the appropriate group and the schedule will be available on your mobile device.

Important rules to follow for fall Camp and tryouts

Please go over all of these items with your player
  1. Players are only allowed in the rink 15 minutes before the start time.  We prefer the player comes mostly dressed to limit time in the locker rooms.
  2. Parents will drop off players only.  The only exception to this is if the player needs help tying their skates.  You may come in, tie the skates and promptly exit the rink.
  3. Players must check in at the front desk with the volunteer
  4. Please have players masked when they are not in their helmet.
  5. Players must stay with their group throughout the entire duration of the camp and/or tryout.  There will be no attending other sessions.  This is for contact tracing purposes.
  6. Only use the locker room you are assigned to.  Again, for contact tracing purposes.
  7. Bring your own water bottle.  No sharing allowed.
  8. Since parents are not allowed in the rink, please have your phone on and stay close in case you need to be reached for any reason.

If any of these rules are not followed, you will not be allowed to participate.  We want to have a safe, fun season and starting it out in compliance with the ever changing rules is one way to help ensure that can happen.
