Last night on the KVLY Evening News it was reported that the West Fargo Hockey Associations is making neck guards "MANDATORY". 

THIS IS INACCURATE.  The WFHA has "APPROVED" and "RECOMMENDS" the use of neck guards.

As part of our affiliate agreement the WFHA is required to abide by USA Hockey policies and procedures in order to retain general liability coverage via USA Hockey.  Our current neck guard policy upholds our affiliate requirements:
